I am extremely proud to be the headteacher of a new and growing school where we have quickly and successfully developed a true sense of community. At Staynor Hall, we are a team where everyone feels welcome and valued; it is a special place where children are happy and feel safe to learn and where achievement in all areas of learning is noticed and celebrated.
We are wholeheartedly committed to the highest standards of teaching and learning, achieved through a combination of challenge, support, encouragement and praise to ensure that all pupils and staff fulfil their potential and are given the best possible opportunities to succeed. We are very fortunate to have a newly built school with fantastic facilities and wonderful learning environments where our children thrive through the delivery of an exciting, creative curriculum.
We have core values of excellence, belonging, opportunity and respect. Our ethos of mutual respect, trust and honesty helps to grow children’s confidence, resilience, tolerance and their ability to see the world from other people’s perspectives. We also take a restorative approach across school, which focuses on resolving conflict and rebuilding relationships, so every child feels valued and has a voice. Our core values and ethos are at the heart of everything we do in school, building a strong and happy school community where everyone has the inspiration and drive to achieve their best.
All our staff are extremely dedicated and supportive, working very hard to provide the best opportunities for our pupils. We are a very strong team. We take the job of educating children extremely seriously but we also like to have fun along the way!
The positive support of our parents and the wider community is very important to us all and we maintain an open and welcoming environment where we can work in partnership for the benefit of our pupils. There are regular opportunities for parents and wider families to collaborate with us in the children’s education.
