Engaging with the community 

Ebor Academy Trust has an obligation to consult under Section 10 of the Academies Act 2010 about the proposal for a new school at Staynor Hall, Selby. This report outlines the various ways Ebor Academy Trust engaged with stakeholders and the local community of Selby in the run-up to the opening of the new school in September 2016. It details how such engagement comprised the consultation spread over several months and contributed to the development of a wraparound care option, which suggests will be a valuable and popular part of the new school.
