All children in the first three years of primary school (those in reception, year 1 and year 2) and attending full-time are automatically entitled to take up a free school meal known as Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM).   However, if you receive one of the qualifying benefits mentioned on the form below, we ask that you complete this form as your child’s school may benefit from additional funding.

Registering for free school meals (FSM) raises an extra £1300 per pupil for the school (called Pupil Premium), which can go towards valuable extra support like extra tuition or after-school activities such as clubs your child may like to join or music lessons.

The funding also means we may be able to help with the cost of trips. Even if your child receives the UIFSM in Reception, Year 1 and 2, we still need some information from you in order to receive this vital funding for our pupils.

Children attending nursery whose carers receive one of the qualifying benefits mentioned in the link below may also be eligible for some extra school funding so please let the school know and we can organise for completion of the relevant Early Years Pupil Premium form.

Any information you give us is confidential and will be dealt with discreetly.

You can download a registration form that will allow us to check your child’s eligibility here. Please return this form to the school office:
